Everything in your binder.
Nothing you don't need.

Every feature is designed around what a squad leader or platoon sergeant actually does during battle rhythm — not a designer's idea of what a leader's book looks like.

Formation Roster

Every Soldier at a glance. Status stripes reflect real readiness — overdue training, expired profiles, active flags. Tap any Soldier for their complete leader's book in one place.

AI-Assisted Counseling

Generate DA Form 4856 drafts from your running notes. Claude writes in AR 25-50 voice. You edit, sign, and file. Every counseling backed by your own documentation.

Quick Notes

Five seconds to capture an observation. Tag one Soldier or the whole formation. Notes become the raw material for counselings, NCOERs, and the activity timeline.

ACFT, Weapons, Training

Score entry with age/gender brackets calculated automatically. Weapons qualification, AR 350-1 training, medical profiles, promotion points — all tracked with overdue alerts.

NCOER Drafting

Six sections, structured bullet generation, senior rater narrative. Pulls from your counseling history so Part II dates populate themselves. You paste into EES ready to submit.

Local-Only Security

Your data never touches our servers. SQLCipher AES-256 encryption, hardware-backed keys, PIN or biometric lock. When you lose your phone you don't lose your Soldier's information.

The paper binder had a good run.

Leader's books have worked the same way for generations. They still work — but the tools we carry have changed. Here's the difference.

The Binder
  • Fills up by month three
  • Gets left in the CP when you need it
  • Notes scattered across 40 pages
  • Counseling writing from scratch every time
  • Lost in a move = rebuilt from memory
  • PCS or new position = binder starts over
VS
Leaders Book
  • Searchable across your entire formation
  • Always in your pocket, works offline
  • Timeline view of every Soldier's history
  • AI drafts counselings from your own notes
  • Encrypted export — restore to any device
  • Clean handoff package for the incoming NCO

One price. No tiers.
Try it for 30 days.

No credit card required for the trial. Cancel anytime before day 30 and pay nothing. Most leaders decide within their first battle rhythm cycle.

What leaders ask first.

Is this an official Army app?
No. Leaders Book is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the U.S. Department of Defense or any branch of the military. It is a personal productivity tool, similar to a paper leader's book.
Where is my data stored?
On your device only. Every Soldier record, note, and counseling lives in an encrypted SQLite database on your phone or computer. Our servers never see your formation data. We have no ability to access it even if we wanted to.
Can I use this for classified information?
Absolutely not. This application is not approved for classified information at any level. Storing classified material in any personal device application is a federal offense. Leaders Book is for routine administrative data — the same kind that lives in a paper leader's book.
What happens to my data if I lose my phone?
The data is lost unless you have a backup. Leaders Book has a one-tap encrypted export — we strongly recommend using it weekly. Because the data is encrypted with a key derived from your PIN, a lost phone does not expose your Soldier information to whoever finds it.
How does the AI know Army writing standards?
Every AI-generated counseling follows AR 25-50 writing conventions. The model is instructed to use active voice, short sentences, third person, and specific observable behavior. Every draft is a starting point — you review, edit, and sign as always.
Does my Soldier's PII go to the AI?
Never. Last four SSN, DoD ID, home address, and phone numbers are stripped before any API call — they are not part of what the AI sees. The AI receives rank, MOS, duty title, and your notes. Nothing else.
When is iOS coming?
After the Android and Windows versions are established. The Apple Developer Program cost and build infrastructure make iOS a deliberate second step. If you want to be notified when iOS launches, email us.
